Looking to get in on the Swegway fun but don’t know where to start? The 6.5” Classic Swegway board is the perfect model for beginners of all ages.
The 6.5” Classic Swegway is the original swegway design that took the world by storm in 2015, featured on numerous TV shows and films and used by celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Usain Bolt and Brooklyn Beckham!
The 6.5” diameter wheels makes this the easiest board to learn how to ride, and this ease of use makes it our most popular design to date. We recommend using the 6.5” Classic hover boards on flat terrain such as concrete to get the most battery life out of your board. However it can certainly tackle and take on uneven terrain whenever you are ready!
Our SwegKarts are quick and easy to install and uninstall, meaning you can switch between having a sit down kart and a regular balance board in minutes! A tutorial is available on our YouTube channel.
They’re perfect as a gift for children, but we recommend this bundle to people of all ages!
How can I best protect my board?
The paint coating on the outside of your Swegway will become scratched and scuffed with use, which is why we recommend buying a silicone protective case – they come in half wrap and full wrap sizes and can be bought on this site.
The warranty on your board will not cover cosmetic damage to the outer shell, as this is something that cannot be avoided without using a silicone case.
Design and features
Your 6.5″ Classic board is a two wheeled, motorised vehicle which can be best described as a hybrid between a skateboard and an electric scooter, which rolls along on 6.5” wheels.
Your Pro SwegKart is a sit-down, go-kart style vehicle, which attaches onto the Swegway using secure braces and Velcro straps. You sit on the large plastic bucket seat, and your feet go on the footrests which can be extended and retracted to fit riders of any height!
The Kart is controlled by the large handles on either side of the seat; simply push them forward to make the swegway go forward, and pull them back to stop the vehicle. It really couldn’t be easier to operate!
The Pro Karts also have a spring suspension which cushions the bucket seat, providing a smoother, more comfortable ride.
The swegway is powered by a lithium ion battery, which can be fully charged within three hours.
You’ll be able to play whatever music you like while you ride, by connecting a mobile phone or other device to the 6.5″ Classic board via a Bluetooth wireless connection.

*please note that the warranty only covers faults with the internal Swegway parts such as lights, batteries, internal circuitry and speakers, and does not cover cosmetic damage such as scratches to the paint coating.
The Swegkart warranty covers faults with the wheels, suspension, seat, and frame.

Please ensure that you read and consider the following health information before purchasing your bundle.
You must weigh between 30kg and 200kg in order to use our swegways. Those who are outside of these specifications and use the board do so at their own risk. Adult supervision is recommended for children under the age of eight. It is not advised that children under the age of four use the hoverboards.
We recommend that you wear appropriate safety equipment while using our swegways, including but not limited to: helmets, knee and elbow pads, hi-vis jackets, plenty of layers to provide padding in the case of falling.
Swegway Shop will not be held liable for any personal injuries sustained while using these boards. These products are electrically powered vehicles and as such, should be operated by and under the supervision of responsible persons only.
